Verse Digital launches Sophia the Robot’s ‘SophiaVerse’ HQ in Decentraland
The stunning, AI-inspired SophiaVerse headquarters
Sophia, the world’s most famous humanoid robot, has opened the doors to her centre for innovation and research in Decentraland. A joint venture between Hanson Robotics and SingularityNET, SophiaVerse has partnered with Web3 creative agency Verse Digital and Metaverse Land, a developer and promoter focused on digital real estate and experiences in the metaverse. Together, they are leading the way on this watershed Web3 initiative and spearheading the development of a new AI district called Innovation City.
The result of months of development, including unique AI-inspired design, SophiaVerse serves as the headquarters for Sophia and her interactive, immersive Sophia AI Lab (SAIL), featuring games, interactive experiences — including a generative AI chat feature — and SOPH Points, a brand new virtual currency listed on a range of leading crypto exchanges with great success.
Working with SophiaVerse, Metaverse Land and Verse Digital devised the Web3 structure and features, including game experiences to drive engagement and retention. SophiaVerse is the first building in what will be a vibrant AI and technology district known as Innovation City. It provides the ultimate taster of what the future holds for artificial intelligence, but also robotics, virtual reality and the metaverse as a concept and ecosystem.

Most importantly, this is the first time that the world can participate in an AI Human Hive Mind to create a compassionate and beneficial artificial intelligence. Through this Web3 Decentraland experience Sophia helps humans prepare for the age of Singularity and a time when machines will be able to think and learn for themselves.

Visitors to the headquarters will immediately be ushered into a game experience by Sophia and her helpers, Professor Einstein and Little Sophia. Visitors will earn SOPH Points for their participation, which can be redeemed for wearables and access, while Web3 SOPH utility token holders benefit from a world of rewards, staking and reputation aspects. In addition, visitors can check out Sophia’s latest NFT artworks, view exclusive footage and developer personal diaries.
